The Idyllwild Arts Academy is one of just a few premier residential arts high schools in the country. Students have a comprehensive college preparatory curriculum and also pre-professional training in the arts. Appx. 300 students from all over the world pursue artistic excellence in music, theatre, dance, visual art, creative writing, film & fashion design.
The academy runs from Sept – May, then the campus is transformed into a summer camp for adults and children specializing in music, dance, theater, creative writing and visual arts.

The kids who attend Idyllwild Arts are extremely talented, and the community is so lucky to be able to attend concerts, dance recitals, plays, fashion shows, art shows, and many other events FREE of charge out at Idyllwild Arts which is only 3 miles from the center of town.
